Mitigation Marketing recently took the issue of tax benefits for conservation lands in to its own hands.
After proactively approaching the Audubon of Florida, we worked together to draft a full-page color ad in Florida's Four Gannett Newspapers (Pensacola, Tallahassee, Ft. Myers and Melbourne). These newspapers had no previous exposure regarding Amendment 4. The advertisement was placed in the Sunday paper on November 2, 2008 to motivate and educate the voters of this important amendment.
The advertisement's main focus was to show supporters of this bill, such as Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, The Nature Conservancy, Florida Wildlife Federation, Audubon of Florida, Trust for Public Lands, Florida Chamber of Commerce, Florida TaxWatch, and other environmental groups.
The following mitigation banks contributed to create positive exposure for Amendment 4.
