Our Team

Alex Preisser is the President of Mitigation Marketing located in Central Florida. She has over 20 years of experience in Florida's environmental industry, including the sale and marketing of conservation and wetland credits, wide-ranging environmental consulting for both public and private entities and is well versed in large scale land management. At Mitigation Marketing, Alex oversees the statewide effort for the marketing and sale of wetland mitigation and conservation credits at 30+ land banks that represent over 35,000 acres of restored and protected lands located throughout Florida. MM currently manages over 5,000 mitigation and conservation credits available with a total value of over $500 million dollars.

With her extensive background in permitting and knowledge of the site development process throughout Florida, Alex can aid clients in the permitting, implementation and long term management of conservation projects. Throughout her career, Alex has developed strong relationships with representatives from both state and federal governmental agencies, environmental consultants, developers, landowners, and conservation partners. She enjoys working with others to forecast Florida's growth and strategically identify viable mitigation areas throughout the state.

Alex currently serves on the Audubon Florida Board of Directors and on the Advisory Board for the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, located in Maitland Florida. Some of her previous volunteer board experience includes the Orange County Environmental Protection Commission Advisory Board, Central Florida & Florida Association of Environmental Professionals, Orange County Sustainability & Resilience Committee and the Art & History Museums of Maitland Board of Directors.
